Exploiting cutting edge technology for personal and professional gains is nothing new. Since the dawn of time civilization has created inventions to help with everyday life. Fire, wheels, metal forges, gunpowder, and artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is nothing new and has been existing in one form or another in manufacturing equipment, video games, and even TV's. However, up until recently it was somewhat mundane and very non-personal meaning that it may have worked and most likely was very effective at accomplishing some boring task that needed to be automated. It wasn't until the recent public releases of long language models(LLM) that the AI boom era began. AI is headlining almost every news category out there whether in stock news, autonomous driving, tech news, and most of the time some of these are breaking news. Why is this? Because never before have humans been able to interact with a "thing", let along technology, like they can with LLM AI. When OpenAI and ChatGPT made headline news it was received well but felt like it was being somewhat underestimated. Then as people began playing with ChatGPT the surge in AI content and news headlines began and it hasn't slowed down. With that being said I still get a lot of questions about how to use and implement AI into everyday life, mostly work related tasks that would be better off automated or greatly enhanced. For the longest time I would rattle off. a ton of websites and YouTube channels to visit to learn more until I realized that there wasn't really a good centralized non-bias source for this. So as I looked and continued discovering new AI Models and also incorporating more and more local LLM models into my everyday workflow I realized the need for one centralized location for useful AI information. This is what led to the creation of AI Help Source. Created on 2/7/2025, we are just getting started placing as much useful information as possible and already have plenty of catching up to do in the short time since launching the site. So stay tuned for more news, charts, comparisons, and technical information related to all things AI.
